Title: A-Z No. 6 game
Post by: secretagentfan on May 31, 2014, 12:12:46 am
Oh man, traveling back to the days of old and sticking a forum game here.

Play if you want, it's all about fun, and goofiness. Judgement-free zone!

The goal of the game is to share something No. 6 related, be it a canon item, name, character, a head canon, a mini fic, a picture, basically anything get creative-- as long as it contains the next letter of the alphabet.

I'll start!
I'll make mine a haiku. Why? Because that's the most creativity I can muster.
A:
An anime based
on Asano's great novel.
What was that ending?

Ahahaha, that haiku is wonderful. (I think I would've made A is for Asters but I think I like yours better...)
When we get down to the letters N and S people are gonna be fighting over writing them XD

Alright, here goes.

B... is for... bullets. Yes. Clearly. (So cheerful.)

B:
Bullets are coated
in anticoagulant.
Run, Nezumi, run!

I don’t even know how to write a haiku in my own language XD So I’m just writing a little poem. Hope it doesn’t suck too much… Ah, c is cherry cake, of course! XD

C:

What a pleasure! It’s so good.
And even though I’m just barely awake…
I think that I never could…
Forget the taste of your mom’s cherry cake.

Wow, that was cute. Ehm ... D ... Death (I'm so sorry ...)

D:
Death is cruel and agonizing or salvific and fast.
But never beautiful.
It means you lost.

My creativity is on a deadly low ... Especially for fast and spontaneous little things ...

Ah, I like all of these! ;v; I guess I've got E then. Of course I have to use Eve.

E:
Beauty never stays
But Eve's remains
It fills in the cracks
Littered upon the stage

I'm sorry, am I allowed to post the next already? It's a one time thing, I swear ... Won't steel anyone show or chance again ... Somehow this just inspires me.

Okay, F is Farewell.

F:
It was meant to be a farewell. Forever.
Never crossing paths again. Wrest their bond of destiny.
But somehow, farewell wasn't as final as he thought. As if there was the center of a star, pulling him in inevitably.
Who was he to withstand gravitation?

I don't have a problem with it. o.o° Post as much as you like... I mean we can repeat this game afterwards, right? XD

God, it's so nice. *-* All those short little poems and texts are so great.

Lawl, I love your text.  <3

Hmm... I'll take G then... sorry if it's similar to farewell, but I want to choose "good-bye".

G:

I’ll never forget the feelings of your lips on mine when you kissed me good-bye.
But you have to go and I have to stay. There's no other possibility. But... is it ok when I cry?
Just once in a while – until we’ll meet again. Then I’ll just have a tear of joy in the corner of my eye.

H is for... hair. Yes, good.
I put more effort into this one because I'm procrastinating on something else. I hope it doesn't sound pretentious or something. ^^;;

H
Translucent white like the driven snow,
pure as your heart and your intentions,
each strand soft and light-suffused,
like the feathered head of a dandelion seed
upon which a more hopeful man would make a wish:
he loves me, he loves me not.

-

Inky blue-black like bruises under tired eyes,
impenetrable like your manifold designs,
worn high and proud,
fluttering like a banner in the breeze,
as if you would declare your darkness.

-

Black knots tied over slim, pale fingers
White wisps reflected in guarded, dark eyes
A yin-yang tangle on a silvery moonlit pillow

It's 6am and I should be asleep but I woke up and had the strangest urge to write. O.O So here I am again. It doesn't sound pretentious at all, Vox. Lawlya you can hop in whenever you'd like~ It is really inspiring. And I believe we could Ahiku ^ ^
Alright. So I. . . I've got two words for this one. Innocence and Ignorance :3

I
Sometimes I wonder
Which you wear
Innocence or Ignorance
I think both would be fair

Innocence drapes about you
Lingering and sweeping the floor
While ignorance veils your vision
And makes me doubt that you can even see anymore

Sometimes it's frustrating
Day in and day out
Trying to differ and decide
Under which; exactly, you choose to hide

Both come together
I think I should know
But I still can't decide
Between. . .
Friend
Or
Foe

@Curiousscarleteyes oh boy, we are really cooking with petrol now. i really liked that one! (hehe, i am so sorry for the stupid quote.) (also, thank you. :3)

I hope nobody minds, but I'm going to take the next one (even though I just did one) because I'm going away for an internet-free vacation for two weeks. besides, that's the first letter of my name. :3

this was a hard word to come up with. geez.

J is for jealousy

Safu POV

J
A heart is not something you can truly own -
you can only hold it,
like a warm, living body
in your arms.
It cannot be taken, only given,
and I know that.
But I wanted -
I just wanted -
well, anyway,
at least I know enough
not to be jealous
of him -
because it isn't his fault
that Shion didn't chose me.

Those were really nice, Fox and Curiousscarletteyes! ^^

Well, I'll post the next one.

Karan.

K:
The smell of freshly baked bread,
Chestnut hair and hazel eyes,
Soft, warm hands,
Baking cherry pies,
Stroking white strands,
A kiss on the forehead.

Is anyone actually going to mind if I take literally every other word? Because I will do it. For reals. I am just that bored.
@Ahiku Thank you, although my name is Vox ^^;;
I like yours too! And I'm glad you picked Karan as your word, she deserves to have poetry written about her.
Why did I write so many poems? Because I felt like I was leaving some unknown important word out. So there you go.

L is for love (a poem by Nezumi). Yeuch, cliché! So sue me.

Laugh at the idea that anyone might make you feel it -
Over 10 years ago was the last time you even thought about it -
Vile as the world is, there is surely no room here for it -
Every time you see him, you fall directly towards it, and you can't wake up.

L is for loss (another poem by Nezumi).

Long ago, you learned to make a companion of it,
Offering everything pre-emptively, to avoid the pain that came from it.
So many dear things you simply gave away to it -
So that all you have left is what's worthless anyway.

L is for life (a poem by Shion)

Life is something you take by the hand,
It takes you forward with direction unplanned,
Fulfilling as the sweet taste of water for me;
Even Nezumi will drink when he's thirsty.

@Vox This might sound strange but I have never heard of that phrase before. I don't mind it all! :D I would do the same thing if I didn't work so much.
@Ahiku: Thank you! Yours is lovely as well~

M will be for memories.

M
Sometimes they're
Thrown
B r o k e n
Shattered
I know you've tried to let go many times. . .
But they're the only things I have left
And even I'm not convinced it was all a lie.

Sometimes I wonder if you were a figment of my imagination
But then I remember those eyes and. . .
Sigh.

Return was promised.
Tears were shed.
The spot beside me is empty in bed.
Where is your breathing?
What about your voice?
What if I can no longer remember?

What if I don't have a choice?

(This ended up being sad. This was not my intention! ;w;)

Those are all so lovely <3

N is Nuisance:
At first, he was just that.
Loud, a disturbance in the usual quietness of his home, no, hide-out.
Helpless, always in danger of being killed the next second if he might take his eyes off him for even a moment.
Idealistic, as if he thought the world could ever be a perfect or fair place - as if he just didn't see all this ugliness and cruelty that inhabited and tainted it.

But with time, he found that the nuisance slowly became a blessing.
Still loud, but killing off the deadly silence that would otherwise loom over him; still helpless, but nevertheless extending a hand to those who couldn't fight on their own anymore; still idealistic, but never seeming to loose hope.
And maybe he found himself unable to live without a certain nuisance by his side ...

I hope I found the right antonyme for 'nuisance' ...

@Vox, sorry I misspelled your name. >,<

I thought I'm gonna revive this thread... and I thought that M comes after N. X'DDDDDDD
Well, I'll post it anyway... ^^°

M  is Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is warm and wonderful,
It’s made up of understanding and appreciation,
And it’s unconditional, beyond compare…
It’s an eternal love, the kind that will never die.

And here's O! orz

It doesn’t matter where you’re coming from; or that you’re different from me or from anybody else…
The only thing that matters is something deep inside of you. It’s defining you and keeping you alive and making all living beings equal.
And that’s the true origin of us all.

@Ahiku lol, it's okay. I'd hope you'd have learned it by now! XD

P is for Pride

I want to be equal to you,
And I won't let you see me cry,
he says.
Damned if you'll ever see me cry.

Oh, my stubborn child.
Right now your legs are shaking so much
that I could push you down with one finger;
with just one finger,
I could push you down.

What drives you to say these things?
Is it pride?

I reach out and
(with just one finger)
poke his chest,
and he stumbles backwards but
does not fall
from this mountain of corpses,
this mound of the only half dead.
He stands, still;
he shakes, still.

Foolish child,
did I think I was so special
that only I could make it through this?
That only I could guide you up
this mountain of life and death
and carry you through the darkness?
His legs shake but his heart is strong.

What makes me blind to these things?
Is it pride?

Ohh, that one was pretty cool Vox! *-*

Hm...when no one else wants to do the next, I'll write something for Q.

Quarrel

What are you doing here? Oh, leave me alone,
I’m sick and tired of you coddling me.
Stop talking to me in that sarcastic tone.
But maybe, yes, maybe it’s just a plea.
A silent: “Don’t go. Not all on your own.”
He’s yelling, and hey - are those tears I see?
A slap in the face, followed by a moan,
That’s all I get and I think you agree,
It's fair to slap you back, because you’ve known…
An important secret you withheld from me.

I never posted in here and it's been forever since anyone has... but the alphabet isn't done.

R is for Restructure

Rising from the ashes of its demise,
Reforming to be better than its past self,
Returning to prosperity,
The city of No.6 is reborn.

AUGH, THESE ARE LOVELY. and the imageries are all so powerful. @_@
*steals S* XD ...Oh, but I can't write poems. ;__; ..so here is a prose, disguised as a poem.

Sitting at the far end of the room, a straight,
firm, and reassured back stared back at me.
Never wavering and always true to yourself,
that was what you were.

“Safu.” I called your name. How sweet it was to say your name.
How easily it rolled off the tongue.
How saying it felt like you were being embraced by a soft, warm blanket.
And, oh, how I’ve missed your embrace.

Slowly, you’d turn and you’d smile.
A rare smile where your eyes crinkle and I could tell that you missed me, too.

“Shion, you’re late,” you’d reprimand and
“Sorry I kept you waiting.” would be my reply.
And I would sit. And we would sit. And we would talk.
Like old times. Like nothing’s ever changed…

Safu.
