It always seemed to me that No. 6 didn't care really about things like people's sexual orientation. Like it didn't really even occur to the people in the city to even think twice about it? and like you said Vox, that sex wasn't supposed to be used for pleasure anyway, like in the way in the anime when safu caught Anne and her presumed boyfriend kissing. They were very embarrassed about it and tried to keep it a secret, which made it seem like people weren't supposed to do things like kiss or have sex for fun.

Sorry, I went a bit off topic. Karan seems like a mother that would respect space with that kind of thing. However since I doubt No. 6 has a true physical education system that isn't just the science of it, she probably did make sure to talk to him about things like how to be safe and stuff like that.
