https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5Nfo_F_kdUAhh, I’m just listening to a pretty old German song. I love this song… because I think the melody is very beautiful, and it’s also sad. ^^ I guess it’s one of my favorite German songs, they’ve written it in my birth year when Germany was still parted in two separate countries: GDR and FRG. I was two years old when they reunited, and I was born in the GDR, in a country that doesn’t exist anymore. ^^° Well, some people think, they’ve written this song because a lot of people fled to the FRG back then.
“Als ich forging” means “When I went away”
I just found it accidentally on Youtube…and it was so nostalgic. XD And then I just thought: WOW, and now it reminds me so much of Nezumi. O_O Nezumi’s departure. And how he’s trying to calm himself down softly… and how he might think about Shion. Awww! ;_;
Here’s a translation… (he’s singing about a woman. ^^° But well, it could also be for a dude when you exchange he/she…)
When I went away the road was steep, turn around and go back. Nimm an ihrem Kummer teil, mach sie heil.
Share her sorrow, make her sound.
When I went away, the asphalt was hot, turn around and go back.
At all cost, talk her out of what she knows.
Nothing is infinite, realize it yet…Ich weiß, du willst unendlich sein, schwach und klein.
I know you want to be infinite, weak and small.
Fire burns down, when nobody nourishes it any longer.Kenn´ ja selber, was dir heut widerfährt.
I myself know very well, what happens to you today.
When I went away, the arms were empty, turn around and go back.
Make it easier for her, once again…not that hard.
When I went away, a wind arrived, so weak, it didn’t knock me over. Unter ihrem Tränendach war ich schwach.
Under her roof of tears I was weak. (I have no idea how to translate it properly… meaning is: Her tears made me weak. Or better: because of her tears I was weak.)Nichts ist unendlich, so sieh das doch ein.
Nothing is infinite, realize it yet…Ich weiß, du willst unendlich sein, schwach und klein.
I know you want to be infinite, weak and small. Nichts ist von Dauer, was keiner recht will.
Nothing is permanent; it’s something no one really wants…Auch die Trauer wird da sein, schwach und klein.
Even grief will be there then, weak and small.
